Székesfehérvár is a city in central Hungary, and the country’s ninth-largest city. It is the centre of Fejér County and Székesfehérvár District. The area is an important rail and road junction between Lake Balaton and Lake Velence.
Székesfehérvár a royal residence as capital of the Kingdom of Hungary, held a central role in the Middle Ages. As required by the Doctrine of the Holy Crown, the first kings of Hungary were crowned and buried here.

With the MET Arena, Székesfehérvár has welcomed not only a new sports facility, but a truly multifunctional venue, a major centre of cultural and sporting life in the city. Variety is not just a promise: from ice to parquet flooring, it can be adapted to all areas and host a variety of events.

Parking

The Alba Arena has a VIP car park with a barrier, which can accommodate a total of 300 cars. 16 of the paved parking spaces between entrances D and C of the arena are accessible parking, and there are also family parking spaces. For priority guests and protected persons, there are ramp-accessible parking spaces in the basement, with separate entrances to the VIP Lounge and skyboxes.

The 200-space public car park is located directly adjacent to the barrier-closed car park and is open to all visitors.

In addition, parallel to the Budai str., the gravel-covered free area in front of the Alba Arena is available on visitors’ own account.

The Alba Arena Restaurant offers a daily changing home-style menu on the ground floor of the multifunctional venue every weekday between 11 am and 3 pm. The quality and variety of the dishes are suitable for people with food intolerances. In addition to traditional payment methods, the restaurant also accepts OTP SZÉP cards.

Car

It affects the area of the city by the M7 motorway and highway 7 in the direction of Budapest, Lake Balaton and Zagreb.

Székesfehérvár is located approximately 90 km from Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport.

Another great way to come to Székesfehérvár is by train. Fehérvár has rail connections in eight directions. It is touched by five main railway lines: line 20 to Veszprém–Szombathely, line 29 to Balatonfüred and Tapolca, line 30a to Budapest, line 30 to Dél-Balaton and Nagykanizsa, line 44 to Pusztaszabolcs.

The Alba Aréna is easy to reach by local bus transport services (37, 24).
